Spray Tan Terms & Conditions

 

By booking an appointment with Ibiza Glow, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Client Consultation & Health Information

 

Clients must provide accurate and complete information requested during the booking and consultation process, including any relevant allergies, skin conditions, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

 

Please inform us before your treatment if your health, medication or skin condition has changed since making your booking.

 

Ibiza Glow reserves the right to postpone or refuse a treatment where we reasonably believe that proceeding may not be suitable or safe.

 

2. Before Your Spray Tan

 

For the best possible result, please:

 

• Exfoliate thoroughly approximately 24 hours before your appointment.

• Complete shaving or waxing before your appointment rather than immediately beforehand.

• Arrive with clean, completely dry skin.

• Avoid moisturiser, body oils, perfume, deodorant and make-up immediately before your tan unless specifically advised otherwise.

• Wear loose, dark clothing and suitable footwear after your appointment.

 

Following the preparation instructions is an important part of achieving an even and long-lasting result.

 

3. After Your Spray Tan

 

After your appointment:

 

• Avoid water, sweating, swimming and exercise during the development period advised by your spray tan artist.

• Do not apply products to the skin during the development period unless advised by Ibiza Glow.

• Take your first shower at the time recommended for the specific solution used during your appointment.

• Pat the skin dry rather than rubbing it.

• Moisturise regularly after your first shower to help maintain an even fade.

• Avoid excessive exfoliation, prolonged hot baths, swimming and products that may cause the tan to fade more quickly.

 

Your individual development time and aftercare instructions may vary depending on the tanning solution used. Please follow the instructions given at your appointment.

 

4. Results & Individual Skin Response

 

Spray tanning is a cosmetic treatment and results vary between individuals.

 

The final shade, development, longevity and fading of a spray tan can be affected by skin type, skin condition, hormones, medication, previous skincare products, preparation, aftercare, swimming, sweating, bathing and other lifestyle factors.

 

For this reason, Ibiza Glow cannot guarantee an identical colour, depth or duration for every client.

 

Where a client does not follow the preparation, development-time or aftercare instructions provided, Ibiza Glow cannot accept responsibility for uneven development, premature fading, transfer, streaking or other issues resulting from those circumstances.

 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you have under UK consumer law or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

 

5. Allergies, Sensitivities & Skin Conditions

 

Please tell us about any known allergies, sensitivities or skin conditions before treatment.

 

If irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs following treatment, discontinue the use of any relevant products and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.

 

A spray tan should not be applied to skin that is broken, severely irritated or otherwise unsuitable for treatment.

 

6. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

 

Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding must disclose this when booking.

 

Where appropriate, we may recommend that a client obtains advice from their healthcare professional before proceeding.

 

Ibiza Glow may decline or postpone treatment where there is any reasonable concern about suitability.

 

7. Clients Under 16

 

Clients under the age of 16 must contact Ibiza Glow before booking.

 

Treatment for a client under 16 will only be provided where Ibiza Glow considers the treatment appropriate and the required consent of a parent or legal guardian has been obtained.

 

We reserve the right to request proof of age.

 

8. Clothing & Personal Belongings

 

Spray tanning solution may transfer onto clothing, underwear, footwear, bedding or other fabrics, particularly during the development period.

 

Clients are advised to wear loose, dark clothing after their appointment.

 

Ibiza Glow cannot accept responsibility for staining or transfer to personal belongings where reasonable preparation and aftercare advice has been provided.

 

9. Appointments, Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

 

Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in Ibiza Glow requesting a reasonable deposit or advance payment before accepting future bookings.

 

Any cancellation charge or retained payment will be applied fairly and with regard to the circumstances and any reasonable loss incurred by Ibiza Glow.

 

10. Late Arrival

 

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

 

If you arrive late, we may need to shorten, reschedule or, where there is insufficient time to perform the treatment safely and properly, decline the treatment.

 

11. Right to Refuse or Stop Treatment

 

Ibiza Glow reserves the right to refuse, postpone or stop a treatment where there is a reasonable concern regarding safety, suitability, hygiene, abusive or inappropriate behaviour, or where information relevant to the treatment has not been disclosed.

 

12. Complaints or Concerns

 

If you have any concerns about your spray tan, please contact Ibiza Glow as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to understand the issue and, where appropriate, offer a suitable solution.

 

Where possible, please contact us before attempting to correct or remove the tan yourself.

 

13. Consumer Rights

 

These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 

Services provided by Ibiza Glow will be performed with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable UK consumer law.

 

14. Agreement

 

By completing your booking and accepting these Terms & Conditions, you confirm that:

 

• the information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge;

• you have disclosed information relevant to the suitability of your treatment;

• you understand that spray tan results vary between individuals;

• you agree to follow the preparation and aftercare instructions provided; and

• you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
